Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will not say of anyone that he is the best of all people, even if he is a commander over me, ever since I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). His companions said: What did you hear? He said: I heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown into Hell. His intestines will spill out, and he will go round with them as a donkey goes round a millstone. The people of Hell will gather (around him) and say: 'O so-and-so, what has happened to you, when you used to command us to do good and forbid us from evil?' He will say: 'I used to command good but not do it myself, and I used to forbid evil but do it myself.'"
