Urwah bin al-Zubayr narrates from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: One day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me, and I recognised from his face that something had come (upon him). He performed ablution (wudu) and left, without speaking to anyone. I pressed close to the chamber so that I could hear what he said. He sat on the pulpit and said: "O people! Allah says: Enjoin good and forbid evil before you call upon Me and I do not answer you, you ask of Me and I do not give to you, and you seek My help and I do not help you."
