أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ: حَدَّثَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، يَدُلُّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَنَّ الزُّهْرِيَّ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ. قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ: وَتَصْدِيقُ ذَلِكَ حَدِيثُ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ أَحْمَدُ: وَإِنَّمَا الْحَدِيثُ حَدِيثُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: أَرَادَ أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ وَهِمَ فِيهِ، وَحَمَلَهُ عَنْهُ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَأَرْسَلَهُ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: رَوَاهُ بَقِيَّةُ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بِإِسْنَادِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ مِثْلَهُ.
Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates likewise from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Ibn al-Mubarak said about this hadith: "Abu Salamah narrated", which indicates that al-Zuhri did not hear it from Abu Salamah. Ahmad bin Muhammad said: This is confirmed by the hadith of Ayyub bin Sulayman bin Bilal. Ahmad said: The hadith is really the hadith of Ali bin al-Mubarak, from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, from Muhammad bin al-Zubayr, from his father, from Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Abu Dawud said: He meant that Sulayman bin Arqam erred in it, and al-Zuhri took it from him and narrated it mursal from Abu Salamah. Abu Dawud said: Baqiyyah narrated it from al-Awza'i, from Yahya, from Muhammad bin al-Zubayr, with the chain of Ali bin al-Mubarak, in the same way.
