Bayhaqi 20016 — Reports on one who swears he will repay another's due
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْفَارِسِيُّ، أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ فَارِسٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَعْنٍ، سَمِعَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، سَمِعَ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " الْحِينُ: سِتَّةُ أَشْهُرٍ ".
Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Hunayn (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather, that he heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: Al-hin (a period of time) is a period of six months.
