حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، إِمْلَاءً، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ، أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ حَلَفَ بِالْأَمَانَةِ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا، وَمَنْ خَبَّبَ زَوْجَةَ امْرِئٍ، أَوْ مَمْلُوكِهِ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا ".
Abdullah bin Buraydah narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever swears by trust (amanah) is not one of us (not on our way); and whoever deceives someone's wife or someone's slave is not one of us (that is, not on our way)."
