Bayhaqi 197 — Saying Bismillah at the start of ablution (wudu)

Sayyiduna Rifa'ah bin Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) was sitting in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He narrated the hadith about a man's prayer, in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer of any one of you is not complete until he performs ablution thoroughly as Allah has commanded him: he washes his face and his hands up to the elbows, and wipes over his head and his feet up to the ankles."
