أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ح قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أنبأ حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، وَصَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: لَمَّا قَدِمْنَا خَيْبَرَ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِيرَانًا تُوقَدُ فَقَالَ: " عَلَامَ تُوقَدُ هَذِهِ النِّيرَانُ؟ " قَالُوا: عَلَى لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ. قَالَ: " اكْسِرُوا الْقُدُورَ وَأَهْرِيقُوا مَا فِيهَا ". قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنُهْرِيقُ مَا فِيهَا وَنَغْسِلُهَا؟ قَالَ: " أَوْ ذَاكَ ". لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ حَنْبَلٍ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ.
Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When we came to Khaybar, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw fires burning. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What are these fires?" The Companions said: The meat of domestic donkeys is being cooked. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Break the pots and pour out the meat." The narrator says: A man from among the people said: Shall we pour it out and wash the pots? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, wash them."
