Al-Bahzi (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out towards Makkah in the state of ihram. When he reached a place called al-Rawha', he saw a wounded wild donkey and said: "Leave it. Its hunter is about to arrive." Al-Bahzi (may Allah be pleased with him), who had hunted that donkey, came and said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), use this donkey as you wish." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and he distributed it among the travelling companions.
