Bayhaqi 19370 — Collected chapters on lawful and unlawful animals

Hisham (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father that he was asked whether the crow is lawful. He said: How can it be lawful when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) named it "al-fasiq" (the vicious one)?
Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) did not carry it beyond himself.
