أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {وَأَطْعِمُوا الْبَائِسَ الْفَقِيرَ} [الحج: ٢٨] قَالَ: الَّذِي يَسْأَلُكَ.
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) says regarding this saying of Allah Almighty, "And feed the distressed poor" [Surah al-Hajj: 28]: (It is) the one who asks you.
