أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْكَارِزِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، أنبأ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَرَى بَأْسًا أَنْ يُضَحَّى بِالصَّمْعَاءِ. قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ: قَالَ الْأَصْمَعِيُّ: الصَّمْعَاءُ هِيَ الصَّغِيرَةُ الْأُذُنِ.
Abu Hamzah narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: There is no harm in sacrificing an animal with small ears.
