Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that on the day of sacrifice Jibril (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What do you think of these sacrifices of ours?" Jibril (peace be upon him) said: "The inhabitants of the heavens also take pride in this. O Muhammad! Know that the jadha'ah ram of sheep is better even than camels and cattle. If there were any sacrifice better than it, Allah would have provided it as the ransom for Ibrahim."
(b) Abu Ja'far al-Simnani narrates from Ishaq: The jadha'ah of sheep is better than the musinnah of goats.
Ishaq is alone in narrating it, and there is weakness in his hadith.
