Bayhaqi 19074 — A jadha (young animal) suffices only from sheep

Abu Kibash says: I brought jadha'ah sheep to Madinah, but they would not sell for me. I met Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) and he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best sacrifice is the jadha'ah ram of sheep." The narrator says: Then the people snapped them up.
Al-Bukhari said: Others besides Uthman bin Waqid narrated it from Abu Hurayrah as mawquf (his own statement).
