Bayhaqi 19067 — A jadha (young animal) suffices only from sheep

Asim bin Kulayb narrates from his father that Sayyiduna Mujashi' bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) was with us in a military expedition when goats became scarce, so he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The jadha'ah will suffice for that for which a two-toothed animal suffices."
