Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the day of sacrifice, the deed of a human being most beloved to Allah is the shedding of blood. It will come on the Day of Resurrection with its horns, its hair and its hooves, and Allah accepts their sacrifice before its blood falls to the ground. So be glad at heart about it."
The Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is narrated from Musa bin Uqbah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the day of sacrifice, the deed of a human being most beloved to Allah is the shedding of blood."
Al-Bukhari said, as Abu Isa (al-Tirmidhi) reported from him: It is a mursal hadith; Abu al-Muthanna did not hear from Hisham bin Urwah.
