Bayhaqi 18583 — Permission to return, and dislike of coming home

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a military expedition, he would say: "Do not come back home to your women at night," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) informed the people: "I will be arriving tomorrow."
