أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا سِمَاكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، ثنا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ الْغَسَّانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " ثَلَاثَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ ضَامِنٌ عَلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: رَجُلٌ خَرَجَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ عَلَى اللهِ حَتَّى يَتَوَفَّاهُ فَيُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ أَوْ يَرُدَّهُ بِمَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ، وَرَجُلٌ رَاحَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ عَلَى اللهِ حَتَّى يَتَوَفَّاهُ فَيُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، أَوْ يَرُدَّهُ بِمَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ، وَرَجُلٌ دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ بِسَلَامٍ، فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ عَلَى اللهِ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah is the guarantor of three people: a man who goes out for jihad, for Allah guarantees him that He will either cause him to die and admit him to Paradise or return him with reward or spoils; a man who goes to the mosque, for it is upon Allah to admit him to Paradise after his death, or to return him with reward or spoils; and a man who enters his house with a greeting of salam, Allah is his guarantor as well."
