أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْإِمَامُ،، ح، وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ الْحِيرِيُّ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْفَارِسِيُّ قَالُوا: أنبأ ⦗٢٧٩⦘ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى أُمِّ حَرَامٍ بِنْتِ مِلْحَانَ فَتُطْعِمُهُ، وَكَانَتْ أُمُّ حَرَامٍ تَحْتَ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا فَأَطْعَمَتْهُ، ثُمَّ جَلَسَتْ تَفْلِي رَأْسَهُ، فَنَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ قَالَت: فَقُلْتُ: مَا يُضْحِكُكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ: نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عُرِضُوا عَلَيَّ غُزَاةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ يَرْكَبُونَ ثَبَجَ هَذَا الْبَحْرِ مُلُوكًا عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ "، أَوْ مِثْلَ الْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ، يَشُكُّ أَيُّهُمَا. قَالَ: قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ادْعُ اللهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ. فَدَعَا لَهَا، ثُمَّ وَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ فَنَامَ ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ، قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: مَا يُضْحِكُكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عُرِضُوا عَلَيَّ غُزَاةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ "، كَمَا قَالَ فِي الْأُولَى، قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ادْعُ اللهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ. قَالَ: " أَنْتِ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ ". فَرَكِبَتْ أُمُّ حَرَامٍ بِنْتُ مِلْحَانَ الْبَحْرَ فِي زَمَنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَصُرِعَتْ عَنْ دَابَّتِهَا حِينَ خَرَجَتْ مِنَ الْبَحْرِ فَهَلَكَتْ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى، وَرَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Sayyidah Umm Haram bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her) for food, and Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) was married to Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him). One day he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to her, and after feeding him she sat down to pick lice from his head. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) slept and, when he woke up, he was smiling. She said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what has made you laugh?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People of my Ummah were shown to me, fighting in the way of Allah. They ride in the middle of the sea like kings on thrones." The narrator said that Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), pray that I may be among them." He (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for her. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) slept and, when he woke up, he was smiling. She said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what has made you laugh?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People of my Ummah were shown to me going out on campaign, as on the first occasion." She again asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to pray that she be counted among them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are among the first ones." In the time of Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) travelled by sea, and when she came out of the sea she fell from her mount and passed away.
