Bayhaqi 18522 — The virtue of martyrdom in the way of Allah the Mighty

Sahl bin Abi Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunayf narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with them), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With the first drop of the martyr's blood, Allah forgives his sins."
