Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to shield himself and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with a single shield, and Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) was an excellent archer. When he shot, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would look at where his arrows landed.
