Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Sa'id! Whoever is pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion and with Muhammad as Prophet, Paradise becomes obligatory for him." The narrator said: Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) was amazed and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Repeat it to me. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said it again. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And there is another thing by which the servant is raised a hundred degrees in Paradise, and the distance between every two degrees is like that between the heavens and the earth." He said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What is it? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jihad in the path of Allah, jihad in the path of Allah, jihad in the path of Allah."
