Nafi' narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when he was asked about a person who buys land from a dhimmi (non-Muslim citizen), whether jizyah is then due on him, he would say: It is not permissible for a Muslim to impose this humiliation upon himself.
