Bayhaqi 17857 — Attendance at battle by one upon whom fighting

Sayyiduna Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I fought in the battle of Khaybar along with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and at that time I was a slave. No share was fixed for me, but the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me a sword, which was hung around my neck, and I used to walk dragging it along the ground. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) also ordered some odds and ends of goods for me.
