وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، ثنا الْجُنَيْدِيُّ، قَالَ: قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْيَمَانِ: هَذَا لَمْ يَصِحَّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا، وَقَالَ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ: عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الْكَلْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ.
Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said that this hadith of Yahya bin Yaman (17438) is not authentic, and al-Ashja'i said that it is correctly from Sufyan, from al-Kalbi, from Abu Salih, from al-Muttalib.
