Bayhaqi 17409 — The argument of those who permitted an intoxicant

Imam al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Abu al-Ahwas erred in both its chain and its text. Others narrated it from Simak, from al-Qasim, from Ibn Buraydah, from his father, with the words: "And do not drink an intoxicant." Likewise Muharib bin Dithar narrated it from Ibn Buraydah, from his father.
