فَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصُّوفِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " حُرِّمَتِ الْخَمْرُ بِعَيْنِهَا، قَلِيلُهَا وَكَثِيرُهَا، وَالْمُسْكِرُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرَابٍ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that wine, whether little or much, is unlawful, and intoxicating drink is unlawful.
