Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the position of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), of Ibn al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him), and my own as well, is that the sodomite, whether married or unmarried, is to be killed or stoned.
