Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those who associate partners with Allah do not make anyone muhsan (chaste) in any way."
Abu Ahmad (Ibn Adi) (may Allah have mercy on him) said: As a narration of al-Thawri from Musa bin Uqbah with this chain, it is munkar (denounced). Al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Afif erred in attributing it to the Prophet (marfu'); the correct view is that it is the saying of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) (mawquf).
