قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ: " يُسْتَتَابُ الْمُرْتَدُّ ثَلَاثًا.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The apostate is to be given the chance to repent three times.
