وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَتَبَ إِلَى الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ أَنْ يُوَرِّثَ امْرَأَةَ أَشْيَمَ الضِّبَابِيِّ مِنْ دِيَتِهِ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: وَكَانَ أَشْيَمُ قُتِلَ خَطَأً.
Al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote to Sayyiduna Dahhak bin Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) that "he should give the wife of Ashyam al-Dibabi (may Allah be pleased with him) a share of his blood money." Al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ashyam (may Allah be pleased with him) had been killed by mistake.
