أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أنبأ شُعْبَةُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ: إِنَّ امْرَأَةً مَوْلَاةً لِلْعَبْلَاتِ وَطِئَهَا رَجُلٌ فَقَتَلَهَا وَهِيَ فِي الْحَرَمِ، فَجَعَلَ لَهَا عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ دِيَةً وَثُلُثًا.
Abdullah bin Abi Najih (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard my father say that a woman, a freedwoman of the 'Ablat, was trampled by a man and he killed her while she was in the Haram, and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) took the diyah from him and demanded an additional third.
