قَالَ: وَثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَقَادَ مِنْ لَطْمَةٍ قَالَ أَحْمَدُ: هَكَذَا فِي كِتَابِي، وَرَوَاهُ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَخِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَمْرٍو.
Amr bin Dinar said: Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) took retaliation even for a slap. Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is like this in my book too.
