أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَيْسَ لِلْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا نَفَقَةٌ حَبَسَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ " هَذَا هُوَ الْمَحْفُوظُ مَوْقُوفٌ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ قَالَ: نا حَرْبُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْحَامِلِ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا لَا نَفَقَةَ لَهَا.
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the woman whose husband dies has no maintenance; rather, the inheritance suffices her.
This is the preserved (mahfuz) version: mawquf (a saying of the Companion).
Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Raqashi narrated it; he said: Harb bin Abi al-Aliyah narrated to us from Abu al-Zubayr, who narrates from Jabir that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The pregnant woman whose husband dies has no maintenance."
This is the preserved (mahfuz) version: mawquf (a saying of the Companion).
