أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ، وَأَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُزَكِّي وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي الْفَضْلِ قَالَا: ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ثنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ: مَا بَالُ الْحَائِضِ تَقْضِي الصَّوْمَ وَلَا تَقْضِي الصَّلَاةَ؟ فَقَالَتْ لَهَا: أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ؟ فَقَالَتْ: لَسْتُ بِحَرُورِيَّةٍ وَلَكِنِّي أَسْأَلُكِ فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ يُصِيبُنَا ذَلِكَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّوْمِ وَلَا نُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّلَاةِ " قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ مِثْلَهُ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ.
It is narrated from Mu'adhah al-Adawiyyah that a woman asked Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Should a menstruating woman make up the fasts but not make up the prayers?" She said: "Are you a Haruriyyah?" She said: "I am not a Haruriyyah, but I am asking you." She said: "(Menstruation) used to come upon us in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and we were ordered to make up the fasts, but we were not ordered to make up the prayers."
