أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ، أنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمَّتِي قَالَتْ: أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ الْحَاجَةِ قَالَ: " أَيْ هَذِهِ أَذَاتُ بَعْلٍ أَنْتِ؟ " قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: " فَكَيْفَ أَنْتِ لَهُ؟ " قَالَتْ: مَا آلُوهُ إِلَّا مَا عَجَزْتُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: " فَأَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ جَنَّتُكِ وَنَارُكِ ".
Husayn bin Mihsan says: My paternal aunt (may Allah be pleased with her) told me: I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for some need, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Do you have a husband?" I said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How are you towards him?" She said: I do not fall short with him, except in what I am unable to do. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then consider where you stand with him, for he is your Paradise and your Hell."
