أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ ⦗٤٥٣⦘ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، ح قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو، أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: كُنْتُ فِي حِجْرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَتْ يَدِيَّ تَطِيشُ فِي الصَّحْفَةِ، فَقَالَ: " يَا غُلَامُ سَمِّ اللهَ، وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ، وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ "، رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَابْنِ أَبِي عُمَرَ.
Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was in the care of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and my hand was wandering around the dish, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O boy! Mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you."
