وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خُمَيْرَوَيْهِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، أنبأ اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي رَجُلٍ أُدْخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ امْرَأَتُهُ ثُمَّ طَلَّقَهَا فَزَعَمَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَمَسَّهَا قَالَ: " عَلَيْهِ نِصْفُ الصَّدَاقِ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding a man to whom his wife was brought, then he divorced her and claimed that he had not touched her: He owes half the dower (mahr).
