Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There were three men among the Children of Israel: (1) a man with vitiligo, (2) a bald man, and (3) a blind man. Allah intended to test them, so He sent an angel to them. He came to the man with vitiligo and said: What thing do you like most? He said: A good colour and good skin, for people find me repulsive. So the angel passed his hand over his body, the disease went away, and he was given good skin and a good colour." Then he mentioned the long hadith.
