أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ح. وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ طَاوُسٌ: قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: ذَكَرُوا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " اغْتَسِلُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْسِلُوا رُءُوسَكُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا جُنُبًا وَأَصِيبُوا مِنَ الطِّيبِ " فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: أَمَّا الْغُسْلُ فَنَعَمْ وَأَمَّا الطِّيبُ فَلَا أَدْرِي رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي الْيَمَانِ وَرَوَيْنَا فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ " وَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ غُسْلَ الْجَنَابَةِ، ثُمَّ رَاحَ فَذَكَرَ رَوَاحَهُ بَعْدَ الْغُسْلِ فِي السَّاعَةِ الْأُولَى وَالثَّانِيَةِ وَالثَّالِثَةِ وَالرَّابِعَةِ وَالْخَامِسَةِ ".
(a) Al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I said to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "They mention that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Take a ritual bath on Friday and wash your heads, even if you are not in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), and apply some perfume.'" Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "As for the ritual bath, yes; as for perfume, I do not know."
(b) Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The ritual bath on Friday is obligatory upon every adult," and Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever takes a ritual bath on Friday like the bath for major impurity, then goes," and then he mentioned going after the bath in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth hour.
