وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ عَصَمُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ وَشَاهِدَيْ عَدْلٍ "، ⦗٢٠٣⦘ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ، وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ وَشَاهِدَيْ عَدْلٍ ".
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Marriage is only in the presence of a guardian and two upright witnesses." Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says: It is narrated from al-Hasan bin Abi al-Hasan that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Marriage is in the presence of a guardian and two upright witnesses."
