Bayhaqi 1344 — The concession of wiping for one who put on leather

Abdullah bin Dinar said: I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: I asked Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him): When one of us performs ablution while his feet are in his leather socks (may he wipe over them)? He said: Yes, when he has put them on in a state of ablution.
