باب: كان يؤخذ عن الدنيا، عند تلقي الوحي وهو مطالب بأحكامها عند الأخذ عنها
Chapter: His attention (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken from this world when receiving revelation, while he was still bound by its rulings when taken from it
Bayhaqi 13343 — His attention ﷺ was taken from this world
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ الْعَدْلُ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أنبأ سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّقَاشِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، وَكَانَ عَقِبِيًّا بَدْرِيًّا، أَحَدَ نُقَبَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " إِذَا نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيُ كَرِبَ لِذَلِكَ وَتَرَبَّدَ لَهُ وَجْهُهُ "، أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ.
When revelation came down upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he would be distressed by it, and his face would turn red or change colour.
