Bayhaqi 13295 — It was not for him to learn poetry or to write

Sayyiduna Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a cave, and his (peace and blessings be upon him) finger was injured. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"What are you but a finger that has bled? And what you have met has been in the path of Allah."
