أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقَرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: بَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِينَا سَاعِيًا، فَأَخَذَ الصَّدَقَةَ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِنَا، فَوَضَعَهَا فِي فُقَرَائِنَا وَأَمَرَ لِي بِقَلُوصٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ يُعْرَفُ بِأَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، وَلَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ.
Awn bin Abi Juhayfah narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a sadaqah collector among us; he took sadaqah from the wealthy people and distributed it among the poor, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that I be given a she-camel.
