Bayhaqi 1308 — The time limit for wiping over leather socks

Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about wiping over leather socks, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The traveller wipes for three days and three nights, and the resident for a day and a night." And my father used to take off his leather socks and wash his feet.
