Bayhaqi 12740 — How the four-fifths of fay are spent

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and asked for her inheritance. They both said: "We heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'We are not inherited from; whatever we leave is charity.'"
