Bayhaqi 12661 — Those who preferred not to take on the role

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Dharr! I see that you are weak, and I love for you what I love for myself. Never take command over even two people, and never take charge of an orphan's wealth."
(35) Chapter: One who chose to enter into them (bequests) and to take up the guardianship of orphans because he sensed strength and trustworthiness in himself.
