أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أنا ابْنُ رَجَاءٍ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " الَّذِي يُوصِي بِالْخُمُسِ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الَّذِي يُوصِي بِالرُّبُعِ، وَالَّذِي يُوصِي بِالرُّبُعِ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الَّذِي يُوصِي بِالثُّلُثِ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding the one who bequeaths a fifth, that he is better than the one who bequeaths a quarter, and the one who bequeaths a quarter is better than the one who bequeaths a third.
