أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ثنا آدَمُ، ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَإِذَا حَضَرَ الْقِسْمَةَ} [النساء: ٨] إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ، قَالَ: " هِيَ مَنْسُوخَةٌ نَسَخَتْهَا آيَةُ الْمِيرَاثِ ".
It is also reported from Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) that "And when relatives are present at the division" [Surah al-Nisa': 8] is abrogated; the verse of inheritance abrogated it.
