Bayhaqi 12556 — Those who held that bequests to non-inheriting

Ibrahim bin Abi al-Layth added in it, from al-Ashja'i: When Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was in charge (of dividing an estate), he would give (those present) a small portion, and when the wealth was little he would apologise to them; that is the "kind word".
